May 15, 2006 Pearson continues to climb up the ranks on Washington Technology's Top 100 Federal Prime Contractors list.  Pearson moves up two spots to #36. Pearson is also listed #11 among the top civilian contractors, and #2 among the top IT Services contractors.
 
Sept. 5, 2005 Pearson ranks at No. 43 on Federal Computer Week's "Top 50 GSA Schedule 70 Contractors," which lists the top buyers of information technology products and services based on fiscal year 2004 spending.
 
May 9, 2005 Pearson continues to rise (#38) on Washington Technology’s Top 100 Federal Prime Contractors list. Pearson also places #2 on the Top 100 by industry sector: IT Services.
 
May 4, 2005 Pearson named as one of the top information technology contractors in the federal market, ranking #64 on the INPUT Federal IT 150 contractors list. Pearson previously ranked #86 in 2004.
 
Sept. 20, 2004 Both Pearson Analytic Solutions (formerly KEI Pearson) and Pearson ranked No. 86 and No. 90 respectively on the Top 100 GSA Schedule 70 contractors in Federal Computer Week’s Top 2004 issue (September 20, 2004). The 6th annual issue highlights top vendors in the areas of systems integration, GSA schedule contracts and small business, among others.
August 2004 Pearson ranked on three lists of the August 2004 issue of Government Executive's Top 200 Federal Contractors issue for fiscal year 2003:
May 10, 2004 Pearson ranked an impressive No. 44 on Washington Technology's 11th Annual "Top 100" list of federal prime contractors, a jump from No. 60 in 2003.

June 28, 2006

Pearson’s UK customer, the Southwark Council, was awarded the “highly commended” runner-up position in the London Connects Best Customer Service Award for the Customer Services Centre programme. Pearson designed, implemented and operates the Southwark Council Customer Service Centre. Southwark's award highlighted the strong partnership with Pearson, the impressive speed of delivery and the transformation of the customers' experience evidenced by an independent assessment performed by an independent third party.

May, 2006 Pearson Canada Solutions was selected to receive the Top Employer Award from the Canadian Hearing Society (CHS), best representing a company that offers opportunities to individuals who are deaf, deafened or hard of hearing. Through a partnership with CHS, Pearson offered sign language courses to their employees and created a training manual specific to individuals.
 
March 7, 2006

Pearson accepted the 2006 Prometheus Award for "IT Service Provider of the Year" given by the Technology Association of Iowa. Pearson was recognized as one of Iowa's champions of progress in technological advancement for its innovative approach in gathering business intelligence through its suite of data warehousing solutions.

 

Feb. 15, 2006

Pearson's National Data Warehouse program was recognized as a "Top 20" finalist at the 2006 Industry Advisory Council Excellence.Gov Awards. The program, which Pearson manages on behalf of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, was recognized for its best practices in information sharing.

 

Feb. 9, 2005

Pearson’s FAFSA on the Web program was awarded “Top 5 Winner” in the fifth annual Excellence.Gov Awards on Feb 9, 2005, held by the Industry Advisory Council’s eGovernment Shared Interest Group (eGov SIG). This year’s awards, which received over 80 nominations, recognized programs for demonstrating best practices in Federal eGovernment implementations, with a focus on successful adoption strategies.

 

June 10, 2004 Pearson was named “Innovator of the Year” during Witness Systems’ 2004 Customer User Conference on June 10, 2004. Pearson was recognized for the Customer Service Representative (CSR) home-based initiative under 1-800-MEDICARE. The 8th annual event recognizes customer innovation, and focuses on contact center, IP and back office workforce and performance optimization.

 

June 2, 2004 Pearson accepted two Pioneer Awards at the Annual Government Solutions Forum (formerly E-Gov) in Washington, D.C. June 2. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) on the Web/PIN site and 1-800-Medicare Helpline were recognized for their innovative best practices, and ability to deliver essential eGovernment services to citizens, businesses, and other public sector organizations.

 

Feb. 5, 2004

FAFSA on the Web/PIN Registration program was named “Top 25” Finalist in the 2004 Excellence.Gov Awards luncheon.  The award’s theme was on governance models used in E-Government projects that cross organizational boundaries. Emphasis was placed on implemented projects with demonstrable governance and program results.
