Program Management
Pearson Government Solutions
applies
industry-leading program management processes and tools to help its
customers manage their programs in the context of their
organization's Enterprise Architecture. Our program management
processes are designed to generate two significant benefits:
efficiency and effectiveness. The core processes - founded on
standards from the Project Management Institute - ensure that the
program operates efficiently, while the Enterprise Architecture
focus ensures that the program successfully meets key business
needs. By providing these two benefits, our program management
enables mission owners to clearly communicate their programs'
successes to stakeholders, as well as provide GPRA and PART
reporting for federal government customers.
Pearson Government Solution' Program Management Office (PMO)
allows
customers to manage all aspects of the program, using best practices
to manage both the IT-focused, and business-focused programs. We use
a broad range of tools and methodologies to provide value to its
customers, including proactive risk management tools, financial
management using Activity Based Costing, acquisition management with
performance-based contracting, and project performance management
using ANSI.748-compliant Earned Value Management systems. By
implementing these processes and tools, our PMO practice enables our
customers to clearly demonstrate, to both stakeholders and OMB, that
the program is using funds wisely and effectively.
